Hydro Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Hydro Services Manager functions within the West Service Hub of GE Vernova Hydro North America.

• This role is accountable for recognizing and addressing the Service requirements of Hydro Power Plant owners in the hub's geographical area.

• Serves as the project manager and primary contact for the customer.

• Collaborates with the sales manager and Services regional leader to contribute to the commercial strategy aimed at expanding Services activities.

• Conducts site visits and client meetings to understand customer requirements and advocate for suitable technical solutions.

• Prepares and delivers commercial and technical proposals for Services with assistance from the Services regional team.

• Acts as the project manager to ensure the timely, quality, and cost-effective execution of service jobs.

• Cultivates strong relationships and trust with GE Vernova clients while demonstrating success in job execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or electrical engineering or business administration.

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience.

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in small-scale or fast-track projects/services.

• Background in the rotating machines industry.

• Experience in customer negotiations.

• Willingness and ability to travel to Hydro Power Plants approximately 30% of the time.

• Engineering or Field Operation experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Hydro customers in the region is advantageous.
