This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee that all testing and commissioning activities are systematically planned and executed in accordance with safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary data for the preparation of commissioning site activities (specifications, designs, Bill of Quantities, material lists, etc.).
• Develop the Commissioning Schedule for the HVDC Converter Station in collaboration with the consortium partner involved in platform manufacturing.
• Participate in the creation of Commissioning documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Checklists, as well as establish a Completion Management System.
• Play an integral role in the Commissioning Team for Factory Acceptance Tests to verify that the systems delivered to the site meet the required quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication regarding the Commissioning scope with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, serving as the primary contact for Commissioning on-site.
• Work alongside the Project Team on Quality, Claims, and Risk Management.
• A completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge and several years of experience in the commissioning of substations, Power Plants, or HVDC Systems.
• Exceptional communication abilities combined with strong leadership skills in an international project setting.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German or additional languages is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and to work on construction sites, including optional assignments on offshore platforms.
