HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure all installation tasks are conducted in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

• Apply quality assurance measures to guarantee the reliability and performance of installed HVDC Valves & HVDC Primary Equipment.

• Carry out inspections in accordance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to confirm compliance with quality standards.

• Prepare and assess installation documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings.

• Guarantee that all tools, equipment, and materials are well-maintained and securely stored.

• Coordinate the installation activities of HVDC Primary Equipment & Valves with the Site Management Team and other internal and external stakeholders (Installation Subcontractor) present on site.

• Offer guidance, training, and support to the installation subcontractor as necessary.

• Collaborate with our internal Valve manufacturing to ensure the appropriate documentation is utilized on site during execution.

• Diagnose and address technical challenges that emerge during the installation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical background, ideally with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical installation for large-scale projects, with a minimum of 3 years in the relevant field.

• Preferred experience in Supervision or Site Management in substation, FACTS, or HVDC Projects.

• Strong commitment to health and safety principles in line with international standards, with the capability to identify and halt unsafe practices.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities, with proficiency in clear verbal and written reporting (English required).

• Proactive approach with the ability to suggest and authorize corrective measures.
