This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensuring the ongoing excellent performance of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated geographic area. This involves the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.

• Identifying maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.

• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC/R systems.

• Conducting commissioning checks on HVAC Units to guarantee efficient operation. This includes verifying and rectifying HVAC RTU controller configurations along with the mechanical functionality of the units.

• Performing physical maintenance on Budderfly HVAC Units, which encompasses changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and checking units for other mechanical malfunctions.

• Responding to emergency service calls during nights and weekends when on-call.

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, alongside executing warranty services.

• Carrying out emergency repairs promptly and effectively.

• Maintaining daily logs and records of all activities in the Company work order system.

• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal standards as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.

• Assisting with customer inquiries.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with HVAC controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.

• Recent graduate from a technical school.

• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning, supported by your organization, both technically and professionally.

• Ambition to advance professionally beyond merely being a “filter changer.”

• Willingness to contribute to the growth of a developing team of HVAC technicians in your area.

• A customer- and safety-oriented individual.

• Capability to travel within the region and surrounding states.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across various organizational teams.
