HVAC Controls – Technical Services Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offers technical support to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.

• Conducts site surveys to assess current facility conditions and the necessary requirements to fulfill the project scope.

• Formulates energy conservation strategies to implement the project scope related to retro-commissioning.

• Aids the project team in reviewing essential equipment and system submissions for compliance.

• Performs commissioning and occasional peer evaluations of design documents.

• Consults with the project team, in conjunction with the engineer of record, on the technical and resource needs essential to achieve project objectives.

• Contributes to the optimization of complex equipment/system enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.

• Demonstrates expert technical knowledge in the relevant field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a focus on customer/client relations.

• Leadership capabilities with a focus on developing and mentoring others.

• Proficient in problem-solving and analyzing complex systems.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.

• Ability to multitask and perform additional duties beyond the primary scope of work when required.
