Hungarian OPI/VRI Remote Interpreters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Have a thorough understanding of the specific terminology relevant to the industry in which the interpreter operates, particularly healthcare and medical sectors.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering any information.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate communication between clients with Limited English Proficiency and the agency by providing precise and complete interpretations of messages.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Demonstrate a willingness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to the team leader regularly.

• Adhere to dress code guidelines for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Hungarian".

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare field are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
