Human Resources Implementation & Support Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of new clients from inception to completion, which includes gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, configuring systems, programming formulas, testing, training, creating documentation, and facilitating the transition to ongoing support.

• Deliver application support by probing client issues, identifying underlying causes, crafting solutions or alternatives, and ensuring prompt resolution.

• Cultivate client relationships by comprehending business needs, offering functional guidance, communicating application modifications, and assisting users.

• Manage and prioritize support tickets and assigned tasks, documenting, advancing, and resolving issues while escalating as necessary.

• Engage in project planning and execution, which encompasses documentation, status updates, implementation efforts, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live procedures.

• Create and update training materials, procedures, and user documentation, and conduct training sessions for clients and end-users.

• Collaborate with Product, Development, Technical Support, and other teams to address intricate issues and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in business development initiatives, including proposals, Statements of Work, demonstrations, presentations, and various client-facing engagements.

• Remain updated on application functionalities, industry standards, technologies, and relevant HR, payroll, regulatory, and legislative changes.

• Leverage modern technology and AI-driven tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving, research, and client results.

• Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR systems, HRIS implementation/support, or a similar position.

• Strong grasp of Human Resources processes, business requirements, and reporting necessities.

• Capability to analyze business processes and convert requirements into feasible system solutions.

• Experience in supporting or implementing software applications, ideally in an HR or business systems context.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with SQL or comparable data querying concepts.

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting.

• Proven ability and eagerness to learn new technologies, applications, and business processes.

• Relevant experience in the Canadian healthcare sector, particularly regarding Human Resources systems and workflows.

• Background in healthcare HR and/or Payroll systems and their interfaces.

• Understanding of payroll processes and HR/Payroll integrations.

• Experience with software implementation, configuration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Proven track record in delivering client or end-user training and developing training or user documentation.

• Experience with software demonstrations, proposals, Statements of Work, or other business development efforts.

• Knowledge of software concepts, databases, interfaces, integrations, and technology.

• Familiarity with AI tools or other emerging technologies to boost productivity, analysis, documentation, research, or problem-solving.

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
