This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Serve as the initial point of contact for staff regarding everyday questions about company policies, HR processes, as well as general payroll and benefits inquiries.
β’ Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, contractors, and vendors.
β’ Conduct regular check-ins with employees.
β’ Support initiatives that enhance company culture.
β’ Organize and implement the annual performance review cycle.
β’ Assist in coordinating team training and development programs.
β’ Ensure accurate employee records and data are maintained within HRIS systems.
β’ Keep organized digital records to comply with legal standards.
β’ Respond to requests for employment verification and unemployment claims.
β’ Execute various ad hoc HR projects, such as system cleanups, policy updates, and documentation of processes.
β’ Help ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states in the U.S.
β’ Cross-train in domestic payroll processing and act as the primary backup for U.S. payroll.
β’ Process timely payments for the global network of independent contractors.
β’ Assist with the annual benefits Open Enrollment process.
β’ Support full-cycle recruiting, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview coordination.
β’ Participate in a two-step hiring process that includes recruiter and direct-supervisor video interviews.
β’ 3β5 years of progressive experience in HR.
β’ Experience in supporting a global, remote organization is highly preferred.
β’ Practical knowledge of Paylocity or a similar comprehensive HRIS platform.
β’ Proficiency in using Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
β’ Experience in managing employee lifecycle processes, payroll or benefits administration, HRIS, and compliance.
β’ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail for compliance audits and payroll data.
β’ A growth mindset and a strong desire to learn.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, service-oriented approach.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive personal data while maintaining strict confidentiality.
β’ Capability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hiring.
