This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
β’ Act as the main point of contact between employees and the organization within the designated region.
β’ Oversee regional operations while ensuring compliance standards are met and promoting positive employee relations.
β’ Provide guidance to HR Business Partners, managers, and employees regarding compliance, compensation, benefits topics, employment laws, regulations, and People policies.
β’ Collaborate with HR Business Partners on business transitions and strategic initiatives.
β’ Advise and support managers and employees on sick leave and termination procedures.
β’ Coordinate with People Operations to guarantee adherence to procedures and regulations for specific cases.
β’ Conduct investigations into complex employee relations matters while ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
β’ Assist with transactional activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and data management.
β’ Work alongside other Employee Relations Managers to maintain the Compliance Framework, exchange best practices, and promote consistency in People initiatives.
β’ Track and assess employee relations metrics and trends, identifying areas for improvement and creating proactive strategies.
β’ Collaborate with People COEs on HR programs that are company-wide and specific to the region.
β’ Create and conduct training for managers on compliance and employee relations topics.
β’ Lead or engage in strategic HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
β’ 3+ years of experience with LATAM labour laws; experience in Honduras and/or Argentina; familiarity with labour laws in Mexico is a plus.
β’ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
β’ Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ At least 4 years of experience in employee relations is preferred.
β’ Significant experience collaborating with key stakeholders and being an effective team contributor.
β’ Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory frameworks in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
β’ Proven ability to develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
β’ Demonstrated experience in employee relations or a comparable HR role.
β’ Background in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the tech or BPO sectors.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
β’ Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
β’ Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
β’ Strong organizational and project management skills.
β’ Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload, with latency below 120 ms internationally.
β’ At least 8 GB RAM.
β’ Operating system requirements: Windows 11 (all editions except Windows S Mode) or macOS 13.0 or newer.
β’ Processor needs a CPU Mark of at least 7368 or higher, comparable to i5-8300H; 8th Gen Intel or above, or 2nd Gen Ryzen or above.
β’ An integrated graphics card is necessary.
β’ Must have 2 monitors.
β’ A smartphone capable of two-factor authentication running Android 10.0 or newer, or Apple iOS 16.0 or newer.
