This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Oversee the recruitment process, which encompasses drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and guiding new employees through onboarding, orientation, and offboarding procedures.
• Serve as a liaison for staff and management, addressing employee concerns, conducting preliminary investigations, and assisting in conflict resolution.
• Stay informed about benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans, while gaining a comprehensive understanding of payroll and compensation practices.
• Aid in performance evaluation processes, offer coaching to managers regarding goal-setting, and support the development of performance improvement plans.
• Ensure organizational adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while assisting in the enforcement of HR policies.
• Skillfully navigate HR systems; generate reports; analyze HR data to facilitate informed decision-making.
• A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred certification from SHRM (CP) or HRCI (aPHR, PHR).
• Progressive experience in human resources.
• Familiarity with HR software, such as Workday.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Remote full-time position.
• Occasional evening or weekend work for international meetings.
• Occasional travel, with expenses covered by SIL.
