This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate directly with ClimeCo’s Talent Acquisition & Development Manager to assist in recruiting, HR technology, employee engagement, and HR operations.
• Gain insight into ClimeCo's approach to attracting and hiring talent aligned with our mission.
• Review incoming job applications and organize candidate materials for hiring teams.
• Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews across various time zones.
• Support the creation and distribution of job postings across multiple platforms.
• Learn how to assess candidates based on role criteria.
• Acquire hands-on experience with Paylocity, ClimeCo’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Develop and refine workflows that enhance efficiency for the HR team.
• Create templates for recurring processes such as onboarding and performance evaluations.
• Organize employee profiles and documentation to ensure compliance readiness.
• Generate HR reports to highlight workforce data and trends.
• Identify system inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
• Assist with programs and communications that foster team connectivity at ClimeCo.
• Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Council on all-staff initiatives.
• Draft content for monthly engagement posts and internal communications.
• Help organize virtual events and team-building activities.
• Support employee recognition programs and track milestones.
• Research DEIB best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
• Assist in file management and implement recordkeeping best practices.
• Research compliance topics related to employment law and benefits regulations.
• Aid in benefits administration and coordination of open enrollment.
• Assist in drafting HR policies, procedures, and process documentation.
• Learn how a small HR team oversees the complete employee lifecycle.
• A genuine curiosity for Human Resources, People Operations, or organizational development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with care.
• Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• A collaborative attitude and readiness to ask questions when needed.
• Interest in sustainability, climate, or environmental markets is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Current enrollment or recent graduation in HR, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
