Human Centered Design Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess, suggest, and implement modifications to ensure that updated HHS OMH materials adhere to human-centered design principles.

• Evaluate HHS OMH materials and propose enhancements based on human-centered design principles.

• Utilize human-centered design methodologies for materials developed for LEP communities.

• Identify and recommend design solutions and enhancements.

• Review design correspondence in accordance with the needs of the LEP community.

• Counsel HHS OMH on matters related to human-centered design.

• Offer general guidance on designs and templates, along with specific advice on updated HHS OMH materials.

• Contribute to and consult on contract deliverables, including materials for English literacy promotion, community outreach, meeting agendas, annual reports, and final reports.

• Manage multiple deliverables and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Participate in and contribute to project status update meetings at least every two weeks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human-centered design, user experience design, computer science, or a related area of study.

• A minimum of six years of experience in providing human-centered design consultation.

• Must qualify for an HHS Public Trust security clearance.

• Experience in federal government, government contracting, or public health is preferred but not essential.

• A Master’s degree in human-centered design, user experience design, computer science, or a related field is desirable.
