HSEEP Cybersecurity/Infrastructure Protection Exercise Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and assess cybersecurity exercises.

• Oversee cyber threats by tracking and addressing security incidents.

• Develop and enforce security measures for the organization’s infrastructure.

• Examine malware to comprehend its behavior and devise defensive strategies.

• Conduct simulated cyberattacks to uncover vulnerabilities in systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience applying HSEEP standards to create, implement, and assess cybersecurity exercises.

• Preference for candidates with current Fundamental and Intermediate HSEEP certification.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with security tools and vulnerability scanning for Cybersecurity Analyst role.

• Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) and CISSP for Security Analyst position.

• At least 2 years’ experience with computer networks, operating systems, and cloud security for Security Engineer role.

• Over 5 years of experience required for Security Architect.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience for the Security Administrator position.

• At least 3 years’ experience with cybersecurity frameworks and familiarity with SIEM tools for Intrusion Detection/SOC Analyst.

• More than 4 years’ experience for Cloud Security Engineer/Architect.

• At least 2 years’ experience in incident response for Incident Responder role.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in vulnerability management for Vulnerability Management Analyst.

• At least 2 years of experience for Security Awareness Officer position.

• Over 4 years’ experience for Penetration Tester role.

• More than 5 years of experience specifically in malware analysis for Malware Analyst.

• A bachelor's degree or related field is required for various positions.
