HSEC Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and sustain the site's Health & Safety Management System.

• Ensure adherence to national occupational health and safety regulations.

• Lead risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and investigations into incidents.

• Monitor and report on safety key performance indicators (LTIFR, TRIR, near misses).

• Oversee contractor HSE performance and uphold site safety standards.

• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.

• Supervise environmental monitoring initiatives (water quality, air emissions, waste management).

• Assist in the execution of stakeholder engagement strategies.

• Prepare HSEC reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in HSEC within industrial, environmental, mining, or heavy industrial projects.

• Strong understanding of Kazakhstan's regulatory framework.

• Experience in projects that comply with IFC standards is a plus.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.

• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
