This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in the development of site HSE plans.
• Serve as the main contact for HSE-related matters.
• Track and report on HSE performance metrics.
• Ensure safe planning of site operations.
• Lead investigations into incidents and establish corrective measures.
• Examine trends and suggest preventive strategies.
• Carry out inspections and facilitate safety discussions (toolbox talks).
• Advocate for HSE initiatives, including "We Care."
• CNESST (CoSS) certification for construction sites.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or relevant certification (CSP, CIH, NCSO).
• Proficient in both French and English.
• HSE experience on intricate projects.
• Training in incident investigation.
• Understanding of electrical safety (high voltage).
