HR Specialist, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations throughout the Czech Republic

• Handle sensitive employee relations cases, participate in calls or meetings, and create legally compliant documentation

• Develop and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal consultants

• Provide advice to clients regarding benefits, compliance, and workforce strategy

• Offer insights on EMEA labor regulations and cultural differences

• Evaluate and provide recommendations on employment contracts and risk management

• Assist clients with Performance Improvement Plans and ensure timely adjustments to salaries

• Act as the point of contact for employees’ immigration and mobility requirements in collaboration with the Global Mobility team

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and facilitate smooth transitions

• Promote automation and the adoption of AI to enhance HR operations

• Oversee compliance governance initiatives across the EMEA region

• Spearhead global projects aimed at standardizing and enhancing HR practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR

• Extensive knowledge of regional labor legislation

• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, and other collaboration tools

• Proficiency in German is preferred

• Familiarity with the EOR industry is preferred

• Experience in managing the employee lifecycle in Germany or Austria is preferred
