This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Providing a wide range of HR services while serving as a strategic business partner to clients in areas such as benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and HRIS systems.
• Overseeing client activities to foster and cultivate robust business relationships, retain clients, ensure high-quality service, and drive revenue growth.
• Conducting audits of HR, payroll, benefits, or other related functions to provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Supporting client recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening and tracking candidates, and performing phone interviews.
• Managing benefit plans, including enrollments, modifications, and terminations.
• Handling employee relations and managing leave of absence processes.
• Executing HR administrative tasks such as terminations, employee onboarding, changes, filing, and other HR-related communications; ensuring accurate maintenance of employee records and HR databases.
• Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinating the employee performance management process, which includes goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues promptly and confidentially.
• Keeping up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Assisting in training and development programs for employees across all levels.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with organizational goals and initiatives.
• A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, ideally as an HR Specialist or in a similar capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations within the United States.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrates teamwork and embodies the GritHR values.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is advantageous.
• Remains informed about changes in employment law and HR trends.
