HR Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offers daily consultation and support to employees concerning various inquiries and policy-related questions.

• Oversees and maintains employee personnel files, which includes creating new hire files and updating records throughout their employment to ensure that all necessary documentation is collected and stored correctly.

• Aids in collecting and maintaining required leave documentation records; monitors return-to-work dates and status updates.

• Collects data and generates reports for the Operations and HR teams related to leaves and absenteeism.

• Manages the offboarding process for employees, which includes preparing and distributing separation documents, coordinating final pay, updating the HRIS system, and arranging the return of equipment as necessary.

• Supports the management of employee medical and retirement plan enrollments, ensuring that elections, changes, and terminations are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Collaborates with internal and external teams to address any issues that may arise.

• Assists with employment relations matters related to attendance issues, performance concerns, and interpersonal conflicts or disputes.

• Completes employment verifications promptly, including responding to requests from third-party agencies, government entities, and financial institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of prior Human Resources experience is required.

• Prior experience supporting multiple locations and states is essential.

• Experience in government contracting is preferred.

• Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is necessary.

• Experience in California is an advantage.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are required.
