HR Generalist – 6-Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete onboarding process for US employees and global contractors, starting from pre-boarding logistics to HR orientation and new hire check-ins.

• Administer onboarding workflows, conduct background checks, and manage system setup in Rippling.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate a seamless and engaging experience for new hires.

• Organize equipment shipments, onboarding documentation, and necessary compliance requirements.

• Ensure the accuracy of employee records, documents, and HRIS data.

• Assist in building Rippling workflows, updating automations, and enhancing processes.

• Provide support for payroll processing, audits, reconciliations, and address employee payroll inquiries.

• Aid in benefits administration, manage employee changes, and assist with offboarding procedures.

• Generate HR reports and support audits, compliance requests, and internal documentation.

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and people programs.

• Deliver prompt ad hoc employee support through Slack, email, and internal ticketing systems.

• Organize employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.

• Assist in performance review cycles, employee surveys, and other people programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Generalist or People Operations roles.

• Preferred hands-on experience with Rippling and BambooHR, specifically in onboarding workflows, review cycles, and employee data management.

• Experience in payroll administration is required; familiarity with multi-state or multi-entity payroll is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with care.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable working autonomously and adapting to ambiguity in a rapidly growing environment.

• Experience in supporting remote and globally distributed teams is a plus.
