HR Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries and deliver support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, role transitions, and offboarding.

• Create and manage HR documentation, such as offer letters, employment modifications, and verification letters.

• Keep employee records, staff trackers, and HR systems updated to ensure accurate information is maintained.

• Assist with payroll processes by collaborating with Finance on employee changes.

• Oversee BambooHR administration, including updates to employee data, job and manager changes, and workflow management.

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes within HR systems.

• Produce HR reports and support general administrative tasks as well as year-end activities.

• Coordinate employee benefits enrollments, terminations, and modifications.

• Monitor and manage PTO, sick leave, and other leave types within BambooHR.

• Provide administrative assistance for recruitment activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• Possess over 2 years of relevant HR experience.

• Have some exposure to full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a technical or startup setting.

• Be growth-oriented and adaptable, comfortable dealing with uncertainty and exercising sound judgment.

• Approach challenges with curiosity and a desire to learn.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of provincial labor standards and HR best practices.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all organizational levels.

• Be proficient in Google Workspace and have familiarity with HRIS and/or ATS systems.

• Manage multiple priorities with a high level of flexibility and organization.

• Maintain strong attention to detail and keep accurate, well-organized records.

• Be approachable, service-oriented, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
