This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform analysis of current-state spans-and-layers within assigned business units
• Compare organizational structures with industry standards and Ensemble’s operational framework
• Detect structural inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
• Create precise and visually cohesive organizational charts using approved tools like Lucid
• Maintain a unified source of truth for organizational charts throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Develop and rigorously assess two to three future-state structural models
• Calculate headcount, cost, and accountability implications for each proposed scenario
• Produce executive-ready decision memos and presentation materials featuring actionable insights
• Facilitate structured discovery sessions with business leaders
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, HR Business Partners, and senior operational leaders
• Collect data, validate results, and finalize recommendations
• Identify dependencies impacting hiring strategies or budget timelines
• Maintain version control on structural models
• Ensure analysis artifacts are prepared for audit and stored according to information security protocols
• Assist in a focused, temporary organizational effectiveness initiative by delivering defined outcomes
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related discipline is required
• 4–7 years of increasing responsibility in organizational design, HR consulting, organizational effectiveness, or management consulting
• Proven expertise in conducting organizational reviews, org charting, spans-and-layers analysis, and developing multi-scenario org design recommendations
• Advanced skills with org-charting software such as Lucid
• Capability to distill complex structural data into clear, executive-quality written recommendations
• Experience working directly with Director- and VP-level business leaders and HR Business Partners
• Background in healthcare, revenue cycle management, or large-scale service organizations is preferred
• Familiarity with Workday HCM is preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification in organizational effectiveness is preferred
• Prior experience in post-merger integration, operating model redesign, or large-scale restructuring initiatives is preferred
• Engagement as an independent contractor or via an approved staffing partner
• Ability to work under a temporary, project-based contract arrangement
