HR Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable thought partner for leaders concerning organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.

• Provide coaching to leaders on performance management, employee relations, change management, and effective leadership.

• Collaborate with leadership to proactively enhance retention and engagement.

• Implement consistent performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback, development planning, and necessary corrective actions.

• Assist in talent reviews, succession planning, and initiatives for internal mobility.

• Identify skill and capability gaps and work with department leadership to provide targeted solutions.

• Manage complex employee relations issues with professionalism, consistency, and sound judgment.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that aligns with First Help Financial’s values.

• Support leaders during organizational changes, growth, and transformation initiatives.

• Utilize people metrics and insights (engagement, turnover, performance, etc.) to guide decisions and influence leadership.

• Recognize trends and suggest actionable solutions to enhance business outcomes.

• Collaborate with People Operations to convert data into insights suitable for executive review.

• Ensure that people practices comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

• Work with People Ops leadership on policy development, interpretation, and uniform application.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required (Master’s degree preferred).

• Over 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior leaders in a rapidly growing or evolving organization.

• Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and employment law.

• Ability to balance empathy with business judgment and accountability.

• Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.

• Experience utilizing HRIS and people analytics to support decision-making (Rippling preferred).

• Solid understanding of foundational HR principles and best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
