This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Support the Central Team by assisting our location staff.
• Act as a resource for supervisors and employees by addressing their inquiries, providing assistance, and ensuring that the organization upholds a high standard of accountability for its services.
• Keep employee records accurate, secure, and confidential within the HRIS system.
• Prepare human resources documentation, including offer letters, authorizations for background checks, and acknowledgments of policies.
• Collaborate with the VP of Administration to arrange interviews.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
• Advertise open positions and support hiring managers in their communication with applicants.
• Assist the VP of Administration and hiring managers in evaluating candidates for qualifications, cultural alignment, and adherence to the organization’s mission and statement of faith.
• Organize interviews with hiring managers and program leadership.
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees, including paperwork, training schedules, and introductions to trauma-informed practices.
• Help ensure adherence to employment laws, licensing standards, and nonprofit regulations pertaining to residential care programs.
• Aid in maintaining HRIS personnel files required for audits, accreditations, or inspections.
• Monitor and document mandatory staff training (e.g., trauma-informed care, safety protocols, etc.).
• Assist in updating policies and procedures.
• Help with payroll data collection and verification, including tracking staff hours.
• Maintain records of employee benefits and assist with the enrollment process.
• Address fundamental payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of administrative or HR experience is preferred.
• Experience in a nonprofit, residential program, or human services environment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential.
• A high level of integrity and the capacity to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Proficiency in Google Workplace and HRIS is preferred.
• A demonstrated commitment to the organization’s Christian mission and values.
• Openness to support and engage in faith-based activities as part of the staff culture.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn about trauma-informed care principles.
