
HR and Payroll Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You manage the entire employee lifecycle: onboarding, contract management, exits, and absence management.
• You create and maintain employment contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and other HR-related documents.
• You manage and update master data in the HRIS (Workday) ensuring high data quality.
• You administer company benefits and the company pension scheme (bAV).
• You independently prepare the monthly payroll, execute it, and verify its plausibility.
• You serve as the interface to the external payroll service provider – from data transfer to approval.
• You ensure timely payments and the accuracy of all payroll statements.
• You maintain audit-compliant personnel files and documentation in accordance with legal and internal requirements.
• You ensure data quality in Workday and proactively identify inconsistencies.
• You assist with onboarding documents, disciplinary documentation, and exit processes.
• At least 2-4 years of professional experience in HR administration or payroll processing.
• Solid knowledge of German and Austrian labor, wage tax, and social security laws – knowledge of other EU countries is a plus.
• Proficient use of HR systems; experience with Workday is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DATEV.
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken; very good English skills (company language).
• Company standard pension scheme (bAV).
