This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chat inquiries, performing assessments to identify the nature of the contact and deliver immediate psychosocial support, evidence-based information, and brief interventions.
• Provide education to help-seekers regarding perinatal mental health resources and services. Direct help-seekers to suitable services and resources from approved directories.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of cases in the Salesforce system in real-time, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Uphold professionalism in the virtual workspace and while utilizing any provided communication platforms. Engage fully with your remote team, including communicating during shifts via Slack and other assigned mediums.
• Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of each help-seeker and their information.
• Attend and engage in regularly scheduled meetings, training sessions, and development activities as requested or required for the Hotline project.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) is preferred.
• Candidates must qualify as one of the following:
• Licensed Mental Health Clinician, including Professional Counselor, Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Licensed Healthcare Professional experienced in maternal and child health, such as a Nurse, Nurse Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Psychiatrist.
• National or State-Certified Doula, Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, or Peer Specialist.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in your field, working with the maternal and child health population.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
• Proven proficiency in using software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, internet browsers, and search directories.
• Capability to manage conflict and endure distress while assisting help-seekers.
• Must be able to multitask and address potentially unpredictable and high-acuity contacts within the mental health environment.
• Capability to work independently and complete assignments according to given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Ability to adapt to immediate changes and requirements as outlined in policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
