This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Achieve all sales objectives within the designated territory by generating significant demand among targeted accounts.
• Develop, implement, and oversee territory plans; consistently and strategically engage key stakeholders in each account and office to enhance product usage and grow the customer base.
• Progress hospital and specialty customers through the sales continuum and secure prescriber commitments by employing effective questioning, active listening, and utilizing approved marketing and sales materials.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the promoted product(s), competitive brands, disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment where collaboration and cross-functional discipline are essential. Cross-functional partners may include Territory Partners, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and Operations colleagues.
• Build a strong, collaborative partnership with field-based colleagues to ensure adequate cross-functional support for customers within a defined geography and for developing and implementing pull-through strategies.
• Create and execute pull-through strategies that promote the adoption and usage of Paratek products among eligible patients.
• Leverage data tools, insights, and other informational resources to guide business decision-making strategies and tactics.
• Utilize CRM technology accurately and promptly to document activities and account-level details.
• Distribute samples and record sample transactions in alignment with Company Policy and PDMA guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, principles, values, and applicable laws.
• Manage the efficient utilization and distribution of resources, including territory budgets, Speaker Programs allocations, and samples.
• Fulfill all company training requirements, including learning modules and necessary acknowledgments (IC plans, Compliance, etc.).
• Complete all administrative responsibilities as required and on schedule. This encompasses accurate and comprehensive call reporting, expense report management, time off management in ADP, etc.

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of skills and experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 3 years in the hospital/acute care and outpatient settings, is required.
• A documented and measurable history of sales performance, including meeting or surpassing territory performance goals and achieving national recognition, is required.
• Experience in account-based selling (Hospitals, Wound Care Centers, or Infusion Centers) within the assigned territory is required.
• Preferred experience calling on Infectious Disease specialists, Hospitalists, Critical Care Pulmonologists, Emergency Medicine physicians, and other specialties affecting Physician Owned Infusion Centers (POICs)/Wound Care.
• Required experience in building advocacy for an acute care product in a hospital setting, regardless of formulary win.
• Proven ability to comprehend, articulate, and consistently present intricate scientific information is required.
• Knowledge of the formulary approval process and the ability to drive formulary approvals is required.
• Strong skills in presentation, organization, administration, and communication are required.
• Experience in utilizing and optimizing CRM systems to support territory dynamics is required.
• A solid understanding of product flow through Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy & Bill channels is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience promoting newly launched product(s) is strongly preferred.
• Must meet all pre-employment screening requirements (background investigation, drug testing, and motor vehicle history) as well as ongoing customer credentialing.
• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
• Technology requirements: Microsoft Office, Veeva (preferred).
• Travel requirements (%): The average overnight travel for this position is up to 30%, with variations depending on the time of year and business demands. Travel requirements will differ based on geography and account responsibilities for this role.
