This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise and suitable collection of information into coding classification systems

• Responsible for acquiring accurate and comprehensive documentation in medical records

• Codes patient classifications of moderate complexity

• Reviews and effectively interprets medical record documentation

• Assigns hospital codes across a range of patient classifications

• Guarantees quality and timely coding, charging, and abstraction of accounts

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Active HIM or Coding Certification from AHIMA or AAPC

• Two (2) years of experience in hospital coding
