JOB PURPOSE

• Drive the consistent achievement of regional commercial goals for the business, including sales, growth, and profitability targets.

• Provide strategic leadership and coaching to the regional team, ensuring effective local implementation of marketing strategies and adherence to the Norgine model of commercial excellence.

• Build and maintain a patient-focused, high-performance team that complies with industry standards and company policies, positioning the region as a benchmark for commercial excellence within Norgine. Exemplify Norgine values and behaviors.

⛳️ Requirements

Business Planning

• Contribute to the formulation of annual business plans; assist in creating business cases for significant activities/projects and estimating the financial and human resources necessary to achieve performance targets.

• Develop, monitor, and execute the regional business plan and oversee the creation and implementation of a high-quality planning process.

• Formulate and implement sales strategies to foster revenue growth, expand market share, and acquire customers. Track performance metrics and KPIs to assess individual and team performance.

• Proactively identify and manage opportunities and risks.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Oversee team members' utilization of the CRM system, identifying and resolving standard issues while escalating them to a senior manager as needed.

• Leverage CRM insights to support an omnichannel leadership approach—analyze team activity data, pinpoint gaps, and offer targeted coaching to enhance engagement and data integrity; escalate systemic issues as required.

Horizontal Leadership: Build Collaborative Relationships

• Cultivate collaborative relationships in a moderately complex environment, focusing on establishing internal and external networks that promote collaboration and partnerships across the value chain.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.

Leadership and Direction

• Communicate the necessary actions to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; clarify the connection to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; inspire people to commit to these and achieve extraordinary outcomes in local business goals.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to reach sales targets and objectives for the commercial portfolio. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure the team's success.

Horizon Scanning & Market Intelligence

• Investigate and cultivate a thorough understanding of external developments and emerging issues within the local health economy and contribute to assessing their potential impacts or benefits to the organization.

• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.

• Share market insights with Brand Leads to refine and adjust sales strategies as necessary.

• Recognize and address the evolving needs of healthcare institutions.

Insights and Reporting

• Prepare and coordinate various data and analytics reports.

• Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and budget plans. Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Performance Management

• Formulate and propose personal performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure the achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to enhance personal performance. Alternatively, manage and report on team performance; set suitable performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure the success of team/personal objectives.

Organizational Capability Building

• Use the organization's formal development framework to identify individual development needs within the team. Plan and execute actions, including ongoing professional development as specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to enhance their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others across the organization in your area of expertise to enable others to enhance performance and realize personal potential.
