This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Conduct telephone triage for hospice patients and their families.
β’ Evaluate patient conditions and identify suitable next steps.
β’ Work in partnership with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.
β’ Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and interventions.
β’ Maintain a composed and professional demeanor while managing urgent calls.
β’ Valid multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
β’ Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly desirable.
β’ Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) used for call documentation.
β’ Ability to type documentation and notes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Capacity to manage stress and multitask while handling calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends).
β’ Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
β’ Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
β’ This role is remote, requiring consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts to facilitate timely patient care coordination.
β’ Base pay starting at $25 an hour, with multiple opportunities to raise the hourly rate, potentially reaching up to $28 an hour within the first 6 months of employment.
β’ Three weeks of paid remote training.
