Hospice Triage RN, PT 3:30p-11p, Compact & CA License Needed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone triage support to hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions and identify suitable next steps.

• Work alongside on-call teams to facilitate care and resource coordination.

• Diligently document all communications and interventions.

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude when managing urgent calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation is essential.

• Capability and comfort with typing documentation and notes quickly in a fast-paced setting.

• Must manage stress effectively and multitask while receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends).

• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities are necessary.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• This remote role mandates consistent attendance, proactive communication, and dependable internet access during all scheduled shifts to ensure timely coordination of patient care.
