Hormone Health Provider – Part-Time, MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• This role primarily centers around hormone health, specifically focusing on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), thyroid disorders, and certain aspects of medication management.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, which include reviewing medical history, conducting physical examinations, and executing diagnostic tests.

• Create tailored treatment strategies that align with the unique needs and medical conditions of patients.

• Prescribe nutraceuticals and/or medications while monitoring their effectiveness.

• Act as a collaborating physician for other healthcare providers.

• Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Offer guidance and education to patients regarding disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Keep accurate and current patient records utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Remain informed about medical advancements, research, and clinical trials in the areas of functional, integrative, and lifestyle medicine.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with a focus on Functional Medicine, Hormone Health, Anti-Aging, or Lifestyle Medicine.

• Formal training and experience in practicing Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is highly preferred.

• Must possess (or be eligible to obtain) an IL medical license and IL DEA licenses, as well as any necessary remote location licenses.

• Availability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, which includes two weekday evening shifts, or one weekday shift and one weekend day shift.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and interact with patients and other healthcare providers.

• An energetic and approachable personality, with a strong desire to assist others.

• A patient-first mindset and the capacity to consistently deliver a 5-star level of service.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to ensure patient confidentiality.
