This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations on moderately complex and some intricate personal liability claims, encompassing unrepresented moderate and CPL losses.
• Assess coverage and scrutinize policy language.
• Acquire recorded statements.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and the overall value of claims.
• Manage demands, issue payments, and negotiate settlements.
• Review medical reports to aid in claims settlement evaluations.
• Determine and clarify coverage limits for claims involving single or multiple claimants.
• Establish and update reserves, document the rationale, and create claim summary notes.
• Serve as the primary contact for policyholder attorneys and lead direct negotiations.
• Investigate and address customer communications, concerns, conflicts, and issues.
• Summarize documents and log claim notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes into the claims system.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Valid Adjuster License.
• Proficient in negotiation techniques.
• Experience in policy interpretation.
• Background in handling third-party bodily injury claims related to homeowners, renters, landlord, ATV, boat, and golf cart policies.
• Must maintain a home office within the United States.
• Dedicated private workspace that is free from distractions.
• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• Suitable work surface and seating arrangement.
• Must undergo a background investigation.
• Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and are prohibited from holding outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license are required to surrender it when instructed by the licensing team.
