Home Infusion Field Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Administer and oversee intrathecal pump therapy for patients experiencing chronic pain or spasticity.

• Conduct pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing healthcare providers.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding medication protocols, pump operation, and indicators of adverse reactions or infections.

• Work alongside physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to guarantee continuity and high-quality care.

• Accurately document all care activities, assessments, and communications in a timely manner within electronic medical records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Additional licensure or compact status is preferred.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including a minimum of 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Experience in home health is preferred.

• Current BLS certification (ACLS certification is preferred).

• Recent TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test (within the last 12 months).

• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a home environment and manage a flexible mobile work schedule.

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
