Home Infusion Field Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage intrathecal pump therapy for patients suffering from chronic pain or spasticity.

• Conduct pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing providers.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding medication protocols, pump operation, and indicators of adverse reactions or infection.

• Work in partnership with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to maintain continuity and quality of care.

• Accurately document all care activities, assessments, and communications in a timely manner within electronic medical records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) holding an active, unrestricted license in the state of practice.

• Additional licensure or compact status is preferred.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including a minimum of 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Experience in home health is preferred.

• Current BLS certification is required (ACLS certification is preferred).

• Valid TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test conducted within the last 12 months.

• Possess excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a home environment while managing a mobile work schedule.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
