Home Infusion Field Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and administer intrathecal pump therapy for patients experiencing chronic pain or spasticity.

• Conduct pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing providers.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding medication protocols, pump operations, and signs of adverse reactions or infections.

• Work in partnership with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and high-quality care.

• Accurately document all care activities, assessments, and communications in electronic medical records in a timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid, unencumbered license in the state of practice.

• Preferred additional licensure or compact status.

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Home health experience is preferred.

• Must hold current BLS certification (ACLS certification is preferred).

• Current TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test is required (must be within the past 12 months).

• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential.

• Ability to work independently in a home environment and manage a mobile work schedule.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
