This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Review and prepare medical claims for submission to insurance providers
• Ensure that CPT, diagnosis, revenue, and place-of-service codes are accurate prior to claim submission
• Transform Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records into billable claims
• Process and manage 60–75 claims daily
• Conduct weekly quality assurance checks on payroll for home health aide hours
• Perform weekly quality assessments of home health aide visits for billing to Managed Care Organizations
• Confirm that charted and worked hours align with health-plan-authorized hours
• Assist Revenue Cycle Management by focusing on claim entry and billing
• Verify that billing information is complete and accurate, and aid in Coordination of Benefits
• Monitor claims to ensure compliance with payer requirements
• Enter and manage claims within billing systems such as CollaborateMD
• Maintain precise records in billing and related systems
• Utilize multiple systems simultaneously, employing dual monitors and screen-sharing tools
• Collaborate with internal teams regarding billing documentation and claim-related issues
• Adhere to billing workflows and escalate issues as necessary
• 2–3 years of experience in U.S. medical billing
• Strong knowledge of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process
• Familiarity with CPT, diagnosis, revenue, and place-of-service codes
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting high-volume insurance claims while ensuring accuracy
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Health billing
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and EHR/EMR systems
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and technologies using dual monitors and screen-sharing tools
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational abilities
• Capability to follow detailed instructions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly adaptable to changes and willing to adjust to evolving role requirements
• Preferred: Experience with Medicaid billing
• Preferred: Experience in remote or distributed teams
• Preferred: Familiarity with CollaborateMD (CMD)
• Preferred: Knowledge of Availity, NaviNet, Waystar, NextGen, or Avaya
