This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Input both direct and interpreted data from ambulance call reports into billing software.

• Ensure compliance with client, company, and regulatory standards.

• Offer insights to the Revenue Cycle Manager regarding deficiencies, variances, and other billing concerns.

• Manage pending and rejected claims assigned to you.

• Execute and distribute front-end client reporting.

• Foster and maintain internal relationships to meet client requirements.

• Meet or exceed the agreed-upon client billing turnaround times and compliance service level agreements (SLAs).

• Carry out job responsibilities and interactions in a professional manner, adhering to company policies and regulations.

• Uphold the company's mission and values.

• Undertake additional assigned tasks and engage in special projects or meetings.

• Provide backup support to Coding Specialists, Revenue Cycle Specialists, and Customer Service.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare office, production, or clinical setting, or equivalent classroom experience.

• Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and software.

• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of assigned work.

• Possess sound judgment and critical-thinking skills for handling ambiguous situations.

• Ability to learn and implement specific client requirements.

• Familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and liability regulations/guidelines.

• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, procedures, priorities, and responsibilities.

• Capability to accept and utilize both positive and negative feedback appropriately.

• Strong internal customer service skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

• Detail-oriented with a keen emphasis on accuracy.

• Effective time management, focus, concentration, and productivity during repetitive tasks.

• Strong and accurate data entry skills.

• Must have the authorization to work in the United States, both now and in the future.
