Home Health Aide – Private Duty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and providing mobility support.

• Offer personal care and companionship to patients in their private homes or hotel recovery suites.

• Aid patients in post-operative recovery and long-term care tasks as directed by the supervising nurse.

• Carry out non-medical medication reminders only (administration falls outside the HHA scope of practice).

• Measure and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure) when assigned by a licensed nurse.

• Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions to the supervising RN or LVN.

• Assist with fundamental comfort measures, positioning, and safe patient transfers.

• Maintain documentation of care provided in accordance with Vitale Nursing, Inc. policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid CNA Certification in California.

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

• Current BLS/CPR Certification.

• Reliable transportation.

• Professional, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Three professional references.

• Proof of Malpractice Insurance.

• Successful completion of a background check.
