Home Energy Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform energy assessments of current residential properties.

• Utilize software tools to quantify energy savings and create reports that document recommendations, including opportunities for building electrification.

• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout and following the audit process.

• Engage with customers to comprehend their needs and motivations.

• Clearly respond to customer inquiries.

• Follow up with customers as necessary.

• Ensure that recommendations align with program standards for incentives and rebates.

• Execute combustion safety and various diagnostic tests.

• Evaluate energy usage data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the energy efficiency sector.

• BPI certification is preferred.

• Proficient math skills with a solid grasp of geometry.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of different utility program offerings and experience in analyzing usage patterns.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and modeling software is preferred.

• Capability to work independently in a field-based role while effectively meeting program deadlines and expectations.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check prior to the hire date.

• Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record are required.
