Hmong Document Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• In the role of a CGS Hmong Chinese Document Reviewer, you will be instrumental in facilitating various components of the company's litigation portfolio, which includes eDiscovery tasks, workflow management, and litigation assistance.

• You will perform research and draft responses for a range of post-conviction motions.

• Your responsibilities will include conducting research and drafting memorandums on legal questions for direct appeals that are currently before the court, as well as pretrial motions for criminal cases in Federal Court.

• You will examine, prepare, and process a diverse array of technical legal documents that are typically extensive and complex in nature.

• Your role entails preparing discovery materials for plaintiffs and/or defendants in compliance with applicable rules and regulations, with the endorsement of the assigned attorneys.

• You will utilize both original and online legal resources to confirm citations and statutory references within legal documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three to five years of increasingly responsible experience in litigation support projects, demonstrating effective communication skills to successfully engage with clients and attorneys.

• A solid understanding of federal and state court systems, legal research methodologies, and legal research resources is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with comprehensive knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw, are essential.

• Must possess practical experience with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging software.

• The position also necessitates hands-on experience with ESI tools and an understanding of eDiscovery processes and resources.

• A Law Degree is required.
