This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborates with the “At-Risk” student demographic to provide remediation aimed at supporting academic objectives and enhancing growth in these areas.
• Modifies and/or adapts the K12 curriculum to align with state content standards, addressing the specific needs of each student.
• Works jointly with general education teachers to achieve the goals set for targeted students through individualized and small group sessions.
• Informs parents about various instructional techniques and strategies.
• Ensures the effective implementation of the MTSS instructional framework to boost student achievement.
• Manages data collection and progress monitoring across all tiers.
• Utilizes data to assist teachers in planning both whole and small group instruction.
• Provides support to teachers in identifying and grouping students requiring additional assistance.
• Collects and maintains all MTSS-related data, including lists of eligible students and intervention plans.
• Acts as a daily resource for school administrators, leadership teams, and other stakeholders on MTSS-related matters.
• Collaborates with Family Academic Support Liaisons (FASL), homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and other district personnel to coordinate and monitor Tier 3 interventions.
• Delivers ongoing training and support to school and district staff regarding MTSS and the implementation of MTSS and data collection procedures.
• Aids teachers in documenting student progress effectively.
• Collaborates with the special education team to facilitate eligibility assessments for special education services.
• Bachelor's degree.
• One (1) year of classroom experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities, presentation skills, and the capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web applications.
• Ability to successfully pass a required background check.
• Experience working with "At-Risk" students.
• Reading Endorsement.
• Flexible schedule with the opportunity to travel up to 10% of the time for meetings.
