This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee and deliver instructional support, virtual teaching, and general strategies for a group of students needing direct and/or indirect services;
• Create, write, implement, and supervise IEPs and 504 plans;
• Track student progress, finalize report cards, and hold parent conferences;
• Regularly communicate with the student’s IEP team, which includes parents/learning coaches, related service providers, and other school personnel to ensure IEP goals are achieved and that their needs are met promptly and effectively;
• Provide direct services to students, including those delivered through web-conferencing software, as necessary;
• Schedule, arrange, and facilitate IEP-related meetings in a virtual setting, as required;
• Engage in the school’s Student Support Team; assist teachers and learning coaches in developing and executing program modifications and strategies for all students;
• Aid in organizing and properly executing all paperwork, documentation, and procedures associated with the IEP process;
• Support the coordination of related service providers as specified in their IEPs;
• Keep precise and current data within the school’s Learning Management System and special education software;
• Assist with administering state testing and organize the special adaptations needed based on the IEP;
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Must possess a valid Ohio Special Education Certificate
• Degree in Special Education or a related educational field
• Successful background checks or clearances, including the Child Abuse History Clearance
• Experience in policy (IDEA) and/or administration within Special Education
• Strong technology skills (particularly with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Highly organized and punctual
• Customer-focused
• High level of flexibility and adaptability
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• History of being a team player
• Willingness to travel for marketing, state testing, and other school events (may include occasional overnight travel)
• Capability to work effectively from a remote location
• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
