High School Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs while working remotely on a full-time basis.

• Facilitate asynchronous web conferencing sessions alongside synchronous instruction.

• Timely completion of grading, creation of progress reports, and conducting parent conferences.

• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and fellow educators.

• Develop and revise Personal Learning Plans and schedules as needed.

• Offer constructive feedback on student assignments, recommending instructional strategies and approaches.

• Ensure that student records and data are consistently updated.

• Collaborate with team members and learning specialists for alternative enrichment activities.

• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing.

• Participate in field trips and community events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a certification to teach High School Science in South Carolina relevant to grade level responsibilities.

• Residency in South Carolina is required.

• Gifted and Talented Endorsement is highly recommended.

• Proficient technology skills, particularly with MS Office programs and Google Suite.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Highly organized and punctual in all tasks.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• A high degree of flexibility is essential.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• History of being a collaborative team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for school and state testing events, which may include overnight travel.

• Capability to work remotely when necessary.

• Availability to work some occasional evening hours to support families as needed.

• Must possess a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
