This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Certified educators will oversee instructional programs while working from home.
• Ensure timely completion of grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Enhance the instructional program through both asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous teaching.
• Evaluate the curriculum and create alternative methods for lesson delivery to improve student comprehension, engaging directly with students and parents.
• Regularly communicate with parents, students, and fellow teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules, assess student performance, provide constructive feedback on assignments, recommend instructional strategies, monitor assignment completion, and guide special projects.
• Collaborate with other educators to ensure all students are making successful progress in the program, maintain a central contact point for parents, and effectively distribute tasks among teachers.
• Acquire a general understanding of the K-12 curriculum across the program and possess a detailed knowledge of the specific courses for which you are responsible.
• Assist students and parents with alternative strategies and additional support for daily assignments and projects.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and curriculum specialists via computer and telephone.
• Keep student records and data current, including cumulative files, online information for students and families, attendance records, and logs of all student and parent interactions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and learning specialists to create alternate enrichment activities and modifications to enhance student comprehension.
• Coordinate social events and relevant field trips for students alongside other teachers.
• Manage regional field trips and strive to incorporate these experiences into the curriculum.
• Develop and implement virtual strategies to foster a sense of "school community."
• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing as directed.
• Participate in student recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives that require teacher involvement.
• Collaborate with Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to ensure effective communication with students and families, assess student progress, and achieve established goals.
• Attend field trips and other community activities organized for families.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach High School Science in Arizona, appropriate to grade level responsibilities.
• Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Arizona.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft Operating Systems, MS Office programs, and Google Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience as a team player.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may require some overnight travel.
• Capability to work remotely.
