This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Certified teachers will work full-time from home, overseeing instructional programs.
• Enhance the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing sessions and real-time instruction.
• Complete grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences promptly.
• Regularly communicate with parents, students, and fellow educators to develop and refine Personal Learning Plans and schedules, provide feedback on student assignments, recommend instructional methods and strategies, track assignment completion, and support special projects.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the entire K-12 curriculum while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the specific grades for which they are responsible.
• Assist students and parents with alternative strategies and offer additional support for daily tasks and projects.
• Maintain updated student records and data, including online information for students and families, attendance records, and documentation of all interactions with students and parents.
• Collaborate with team members and learning specialists to create alternative enrichment activities and adjustments to students’ programs to enhance their understanding.
• Create and sustain a virtual school community through innovative methods.
• Participate in the organization and administration of State Testing as directed.
• Engage in student recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives that require teacher involvement.
• Attend field trips and community events organized for families.
• Must be certified to teach High School Math in South Carolina (aligned with grade level responsibilities).
• Residency in South Carolina is required.
• Gifted and Talented Endorsement is strongly recommended.
• Proficiency in technology, particularly with MS Office programs and Google Suite.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly organized and punctual.

• High degree of adaptability.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong track record as a team player.
• Willingness to occasionally travel for school and state testing events (which may include overnight travel).
• Capability to work remotely, if required.
• Availability to work some evening hours occasionally, as needed to support families.
• Must possess a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
