High School Health Science Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• The High School Health Science CRE Teacher is a state-certified educator and/or alternatively certified CRE/CTE Teacher tasked with delivering designated course material in an online setting.

• The CRE/CTE Teacher is also responsible for providing instruction, support, and guidance, managing the learning process, and concentrating on the individual needs of students.

• Teachers monitor student progress through K12's learning management system and actively engage with students and parents to enhance each student's learning experience while developing and overseeing a plan for post-secondary success using online tools.

• A Bachelor's degree AND

• A valid state teaching license AND

• The ability to pass the required background check.

• Capability to collaborate with fellow educators to interpret and create numeric, tabular, and graphical representations of student data, utilizing it to inform instructional decisions.

• Open to receiving regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.

• Ability to adapt to changes and ensure outstanding student outcomes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.

• Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and demonstrate fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
