This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Responsible for delivering designated course content in an online setting.
• Provide instruction, assistance, and guidance to students.
• Oversee the learning process effectively.
• Tailor approaches to meet the individual needs of students.
• Track student progress utilizing the learning management system.
• Collaborate closely with students and parents/Learning Coaches to enhance each student's educational experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of six (6) months of student teaching experience.
• Fulfill the criteria for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in the relevant subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB).
• Possess pedagogical knowledge of the content being taught and the ability to apply critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with state content standards.
• Capacity to embrace change and adapt to ensure outstanding student outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of organization.
• Comprehension of the interdependence of deadlines across multiple projects and the ability to act to maintain the integrity of others' deadlines.
• Capability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week.
• Access to dependable high-speed internet.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
• Commitment to maintaining teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency with technology systems, programs, and curriculum.
• Ability to successfully pass required background checks.
