High School English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Effectively oversee instructional programs remotely.

• Engage in regular consultations with learning coaches and students.

• Perform grading tasks, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences.

• Facilitate the instructional program through web conferencing sessions.

• Evaluate curriculum and create alternative lesson approaches.

• Maintain consistent communication with parents, students, and teachers.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of K-12 curriculum.

• Provide additional support to students and parents as needed.

• Ensure student records are consistently updated.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop enrichment activities.

• Participate in organizing state testing as directed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach High School English in Kansas.

• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS, MS Office programs, and Google Suite.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• High level of flexibility.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated history of being a team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may involve some overnight travel.

• Ability to work some occasional evening hours when necessary to assist families.

• Must be capable of using a personal electronic device and email for 2-step authentication.
