This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create comprehensive business plans, conduct market analysis, and devise strategies that drive significant business outcomes and implement them effectively.
• Position the on-label benefits for suitable patients with key customer stakeholders to achieve or surpass projected sales targets.
• Address account-level issues to guarantee access to therapies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various functions, including Market Access, Clinical Education, and Medical Affairs, to enhance customer and patient access to Karyopharm products and information.
• Relay customer insights to internal stakeholders, highlighting best practices, unmet needs, and potential business opportunities.
• Support the Marketing team in identifying and inviting relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs) to promotional and educational events or programs.
• Cultivate and sustain a deep understanding of the clinical and technical aspects related to the promoted products, the oncology market, and disease management.
• Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), decision makers, influencers, and key stakeholders within the oncology sector.
• Provide clinical and technical value at medical meetings by manning promotional booths as requested.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations while following company compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Operate with urgency on behalf of patients and customers.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of success.
• 2+ years of experience in oncology or rare disease pharmaceutical sales, including involvement in product launches.
• Experience in Hematology and/or Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
• Established relationships with oncology practices in the territory are preferred.
• Strong business acumen is essential.
• Must live in close proximity to the area or be willing to relocate.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
