This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Drive sales success by promoting PharmaEssentia products to selected, approved customers and distribution channels.
• Articulate the clinical attributes of BESREMi®, elucidate pivotal trial findings, and effectively address both clinical and non-clinical challenges to key stakeholders in hematology oncology patient care.
• Collaborate with cross-functional commercial teams, including market access and medical divisions, to deliver comprehensive solutions for customers.
• Establish, nurture, and leverage clinical and business expertise within the hematology oncology sector to create territory business plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of customers in relation to BESREMi®.
• Formulate specific action plans for accounts/prescribers that clarify the pathway to achieving set objectives within a designated timeframe, employing analytics to identify trends and monitor progress toward goals.
• Achieve and surpass business targets through strategic planning, partner collaboration, and effective utilization of tools and resources for seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
• Become a recognized expert on all critical topics influencing business success—disease state knowledge, clinical expertise, product knowledge, competitive landscape, market dynamics, and customer needs across segments, including local market access.
• Fulfill sales administrative duties (T&E, compliance SOPs, Sunshine reporting, etc.).
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, with a focus on hematology, solid tumors, or rare diseases.
• Proven track record of sales experience in hematology oncology within academic and community-based settings.
• Established relationships with key stakeholders, such as KOLs and key account leaders, are highly desirable.
• Experience in launching new products is essential.
• Familiarity with other commercial functions (e.g., marketing, market access, sales operations, sales training, insights/analytics, business development) is preferred.
• Experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy is advantageous.
• Demonstrated performance history and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
• Ability to comprehend all aspects of the sales cycle, including patient identification, building clinical conviction, addressing access and reimbursement challenges, and managing distribution.
• Creative thinking and solution-seeking skills to access customers and meet business objectives.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with a strong leadership presence.
• Proven adaptability to changes in the work environment, maintaining a comprehensive perspective amidst frequent changes, delays, unexpected events, or ambiguity related to new product launches.
• Must consistently demonstrate high ethical standards, always prioritizing patient needs.
• Strong critical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibits a proactive sales hunter mentality, capable of generating new leads and striving for results.
